Strengthening Every Generation Through Lifelong Opportunity “Communities flourish when every generation has the opportunity to learn, contribute, lead, and thrive. Investing in people across every stage of life creates stronger families, healthier neighborhoods, and a more resilient future.” Introduction A healthy community supports individuals throughout every stage of life. Children deserve safe environments that encourage learning and healthy development. Young adults deserve opportunities to prepare for meaningful careers and leadership. Families deserve access to resources that strengthen stability and resilience. Veterans deserve services that recognize their sacrifices and help them successfully transition to civilian life. Older adults deserve opportunities to remain active, healthy, independent, and connected. The Poverty Exed Project Community Transformation Center is designed to serve as a multigenerational community campus where organizations specializing in different populations can collaborate to improve outcomes while preserving their individual expertise and missions. The Center recognizes that community transformation occurs when every generation is supported. A Life-Course Model Rather than organizing services around isolated programs, the Community Transformation Center embraces a life-course approach. This philosophy recognizes that every resident’s needs evolve over time.
